Formerly known as Captain of the Rant, Paul Case is an Edinburgh-based spoken word performer and writer who has been performing poems, stories, monologues and songs since 2007.
Initially inspired by the ethos of punk, Paul's performances are typically high energy and passionate, shot through with anger, sadness and humour.
He's performed hundreds of gigs all over the UK. He has featured for Liar’s League, Apples & Snakes, Hammer & Tongue, Bang! Said The Gun and Loud Poets. He has also performed internationally in Germany, Malaysia and has gigged extensively in Australia.
Paul has also been a regular on the festival circuit, performing at Secret Garden Party, Boomtown Fair and Glastonwick as well as many others.
His writing has been published by a diverse range of publishers such as Influx Press, The Erotic Review and Class War.
